The JL Audio M7-12IB-S-GMTI-4 is a genuine M7-Series 12-inch marine subwoofer driver engineered for infinite-baffle (free-air) installations where maximum output and durability are required. Featuring a gunmetal trim ring with a titanium Sport grille, it’s built for harsh marine environments and delivers powerful, controlled bass without the need for a dedicated enclosure when mounted to a large air volume behind the driver.

  • Continuous power handling: 600 W RMS (best with 200–600 W amplifier power)
  • Impedance: 4 Ω (single voice coil)
  • Voice coil: 4-inch for high power handling
  • Preferred use: Infinite-baffle / free-air with at least 3.0 cu. ft. (84.95 L) air volume behind the driver
  • Sealed enclosure (optional): minimum 2.0 cu. ft. (56.6 L); optimum 3.0 cu. ft. (70.8 L)
