The JL Audio MBT-CRX (TMP SKU: JLMBT-CRX) is a compact, marine-rated Bluetooth® audio controller/receiver designed to add wireless music streaming and simple playback control to a boat or powersports sound system. It connects to any amplifier or source unit with line-level (RCA/AUX) inputs, letting you keep your phone safely stowed while you control volume and tracks from the dash.

  • Bluetooth streaming: A2DP audio with AVRCP playback control (play/pause, track up/down)
  • Audio output: 1 x stereo RCA preamp output (line-level)
  • Water resistance: IPX6 (designed for marine & outdoor environments)
  • Bluetooth version: 4.0 (supports higher-quality aptX streaming from compatible devices)
  • Control interface: rotary volume knob + backlit buttons for day/night visibility
  • Power requirements: 12V DC power and ground connection (inline fused)
  • Mounting style: single-hole gauge-style mount with threaded collar; adaptor plate and gaskets typically included for flexible installs

Typical applications: helm/dash panels, center consoles, PWCs, UTVs, ATVs and other open-cockpit vehicles needing a sealed, simple Bluetooth source.
