KITVOLVOSX/AL is a genuine Tecnoseal aluminium anode kit designed for Volvo Penta SX and DP-SM sterndrives. The two-anode kit protects the sterndrive’s transom shield and cavitation plate areas against galvanic corrosion.
Manufactured in Italy using Tecnoseal’s cadmium-free aluminium alloy, the anodes comply with US Military Specification A-24779 (SH). Aluminium is suitable for boats operating in saltwater and brackish water.
The kit includes Tecnoseal anodes 00718AL and 00726AL together with the required mounting hardware. It replaces Volvo Penta anodes 3586461 and 3863193, including the earlier references 3854130 and 3855411.
