About TMP Global

Marine parts, backed by real people who know boats

TMP Global is a family-run marine parts business based in Sandbanks, United Kingdom.

We started TMP Global because we believed buying marine parts should be clearer, more reliable and far less frustrating than it often is. Too many buyers are left dealing with vague listings, poor fitment clarity, weak support and the feeling that they are on their own if they are not completely sure what they need.

We wanted to build something better. A marine parts business built on real experience, proper support and a more straightforward way to buy.

The story behind TMP Global

TMP is not just a brand name we came up with. It comes from our family history in the marine trade.

Years ago, Don Trickett built Trickett Marine Products into a respected marine business in Poole. We grew up around that world. Around boats, parts, customers, packing benches, supplier relationships and the day-to-day reality of a working marine business.

That background stayed with us.

TMP Global was founded by Callum Trickett, Sam Trickett and Ben Trickett as a modern continuation of that family story, built for today’s marine market and the standards we believe customers should be able to expect.

Built on marine engineering experience

TMP Global is not run by people guessing their way through a catalogue.

Between us, we bring more than 70 years of combined marine engineering experience, before even counting the generation before us. That matters because marine parts are rarely as simple as matching a photo and pressing buy.

Model years change. Manufacturers update components. Serial numbers matter. A part that looks right is not always the right part.

Our background in marine engineering helps us understand the practical side of what customers are dealing with, from fitment questions to model changes and the difference between parts that seem similar but are not.

Why we started this business

We saw a clear gap in the marine market.

Compared with the motor trade, buying replacement parts for boats can still feel awkward, slow and unclear. Good parts can be difficult to find, product information is often not strong enough, and too many buyers are left trying to work things out for themselves.

We started TMP Global to help change that.

Our aim is simple. To make marine parts buying easier, clearer and more dependable for boat owners, marine engineers, trade buyers and businesses.

Help when you are not sure what you need

A lot of customers do not arrive with an exact part number.

They know the engine, the issue, the make, the model or the year. They might have a serial number, a few measurements or a couple of photos. What they need is someone who can help them narrow it down properly.

That is where we come in.

If you are unsure what you need, you can contact us by phone, email or live chat. We work from the information you have and help you move closer to the right answer. Where needed, we will compare options, check details and help you buy with more confidence.

We do not think buying marine parts should feel like guesswork.

What we build around

We are building TMP Global around recognised marine supply and established product lines.

At the time of writing, we work with dealer relationships including Recmar, Tohatsu UK and Osculati, alongside wider access to respected marine brands across parts, hardware and onboard equipment.

Our approach is straightforward. Build properly, grow carefully and focus on products and suppliers we can stand behind.

What matters to us

The way we want customers to experience TMP Global is simple.

  • Clarity. Clearer information and clearer buying decisions.
  • Honesty. Straight answers, not sales talk for the sake of it.
  • Fitment confidence. Practical help when the right part is not obvious.
  • Accessible support. Real people you can actually speak to.
  • No nonsense. A more grounded and professional buying experience from start to finish.

Still growing, built seriously

TMP Global is still growing, and we are honest about that.

We are not the biggest name in the market. What we do offer is real marine background, real supplier relationships and a more hands-on level of support than many larger and more impersonal retailers can give.

We are here to earn trust properly and build something customers will want to come back to.

Looking ahead

Our long-term aim is to keep building TMP Global into a stronger and more complete marine buying platform for both retail and trade customers.

But the core idea stays the same.

Make it easier to find the right marine products, get proper support and buy from people who understand the industry.

"In a world that feels overly industrial and impersonal, i'm committed to real human connection. If we don't stock it, I'll track it down because in this industry, community and trust is what keeps us afloat."

~ Callum Trickett, Director
