Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions explain how orders placed with TMP Global work and the rules for using our website. Please read them before placing an order. If anything is unclear, contact us at support@tmpglobal.store.
1. Who we are
TMP Global is operated by TMP Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16337284. Our registered office is 4 Glendale Avenue, Ferndown, Dorset, BH22 9LF, United Kingdom. Our website is tmpglobal.store.
Our registered office is not a returns address. Please contact us for the correct return instructions before posting any goods.
2. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to purchases from our website and to the use of its content and features. If you purchase goods mainly for personal use, you are a consumer. If you buy wholly or mainly for a business, trade or profession, you are a business customer.
Additional written terms may apply to approved trade accounts, credit arrangements or individually agreed quotations. We will make those terms available before they apply. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces rights that consumers have under applicable law.
3. Products and product information
We supply marine parts, equipment and boating accessories, including genuine manufacturer parts and products from independent aftermarket manufacturers. Unless a product is expressly described as genuine or original equipment manufacturer (OEM), please do not assume it is supplied or manufactured by the original engine or equipment manufacturer.
We take reasonable care with product descriptions, photographs, part numbers and compatibility information. Images may show representative finishes, packaging or accessories, but the goods supplied must still match the description and any other information that forms part of your contract.
Some products can fit several engines or systems, while similarly named models may require different parts. Please check the manufacturer, specification, part number and any model or serial-number requirements before ordering. If you're unsure, contact us before buying. Further guidance is available in our Parts Compatibility & Fitment Policy.
Availability shown on the website may change. Some items are held in UK stock; others are sourced from suppliers when ordered. We will contact you if we cannot supply an item as ordered.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other compulsory charges that we collect will be shown before you confirm your purchase. Additional charges that may apply to international orders are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
We may correct an obvious website pricing or product-description error before accepting an order. If that affects your order, we will explain the issue and give you the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling. We will not increase the price of an accepted order without your agreement.
Payment is taken using the methods offered at checkout. Where Klarna or PayPal Pay Later is available, the provider is responsible for assessing eligibility and setting the applicable credit or repayment agreement. Our sale of the goods is separate from the customer's agreement with the payment provider.
5. Placing and accepting orders
When you place an order, you are asking to buy the goods in your basket. An automated email acknowledging receipt of your order does not, by itself, mean we have accepted it. We accept an order when we send a dispatch confirmation or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance.
We may be unable to accept an order if a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised or we cannot lawfully supply or deliver the goods. We will tell you and arrange a refund of any amount taken for the unaccepted goods without undue delay.
Please provide accurate contact and delivery information and check your order confirmation. If you spot an error, contact us promptly so that we can try to resolve it before dispatch.
6. Delivery and ownership
Delivery options, charges, geographical restrictions and estimated timeframes are set out at checkout and in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. The estimate for a supplier-sourced item may differ from that of a product held in UK stock.
Unless we agree a different delivery period with you, goods sold to consumers will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made. If delivery is delayed, your rights will depend on the circumstances and the applicable law. Please contact us so we can investigate and discuss the available options.
For consumers, the risk of loss or damage normally remains with us until the goods come into your physical possession or that of someone you have nominated to receive them. Different rules may apply if you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer. Ownership of goods passes once we have received full payment, subject to applicable law.
7. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
If you buy online as a consumer, you will usually have a legal right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Certain limited exceptions apply, including goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Ordering an ordinary catalogue part from one of our suppliers does not, by itself, remove this right.
Our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy explains how to cancel, how returns work, which costs you may have to pay and how refunds are made. Consumer rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods remain available regardless of any voluntary warranty or returns procedure.
8. Manufacturer warranties and installation
Some products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty. Its duration and conditions depend on the particular product and manufacturer. A manufacturer's warranty is additional to, and does not replace, any statutory consumer rights you have against TMP Global.
Marine components should be installed, used and maintained in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's instructions and safety requirements. Where a task requires specialist knowledge, appropriate qualifications or safety checks, we recommend using a competent marine professional. This does not remove our legal responsibilities for the products we sell or advice we provide.
9. Accounts, enquiries and website use
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for telling us if you suspect unauthorised access. Please use the website lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with its operation, security or other users' accounts.
You must not submit misleading, unlawful, abusive or infringing material, introduce malicious software, scrape our site in a way that disrupts it or use our services to commit fraud. We may remove offending material or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our customers, systems or legal obligations.
Information in our guides, diagrams and support materials is provided to help identify products and understand their intended use. It is not a substitute for manufacturer instructions, appropriate safety procedures or professional advice where these are needed.
10. Reviews, photographs and other customer content
If you submit a review, photograph, question, comment or other material for publication on TMP Global, please make sure it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, relevant and lawful. You must have permission to share anything you upload, including any images or third-party intellectual property.
By choosing to submit material for public display, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display and reasonably format it for operation of our website and presentation of the relevant products or services. You continue to own your material. We will not use an identifiable customer's photograph or testimonial in a separate advertising campaign without obtaining any permission required by law.
We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, unrelated to the product or otherwise unsuitable. We will handle personal data in submitted content under our Privacy Policy.
11. Website content and third-party links
The text, branding, design, photography and other original material on our website are owned by TMP Global or used with permission, except where otherwise stated. You may use the website for ordinary personal or business purchasing purposes, but you must not reproduce or commercially exploit its content without permission, unless the law permits it.
Our website may link to manufacturers, payment providers and other third-party websites. Their own terms and privacy information apply when you use those services. We are not responsible for the content of websites outside our control, although this does not affect our duties in relation to products purchased from us.
12. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or a consumer's statutory rights.
We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill where the law makes us responsible. For consumer purchases, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was made, or losses arising solely from circumstances outside our responsibility.
If you buy goods for business purposes, any additional limitations of liability must be reasonable and will be governed by the trade terms or written agreement applicable to your purchase and the law. No blanket consumer liability cap is imposed by these terms.
13. Privacy
We use personal data as explained in our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as explained in our Cookies Policy.
14. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when our business practices or legal requirements change. The terms applicable to an order will be those provided or made available when the order was accepted, unless a later change is expressly agreed or required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections that apply to them and any rights to bring proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
