This 12V starter motor is intended as a replacement for select Mercury/Mariner 40_x0019_950HP four-stroke outboards (including 40HP Italy, 45HP Bodensee, 50HP and 50HP BigFoot applications). It cross-references common Mercury/Quicksilver starter part numbers for these models.

Supplied by Recmar (Recambios Marinos) under SKU ARC5362, it uses a 9-tooth pinion gear with CCW rotation to match the OEM drive specification.

Before ordering: fitment can vary by year/serial range. Confirm your engine model and the OEM number on the starter currently fitted.
