The Kicker 51MSS8 MSS8 8 inch marine coaxial speakers are engineered for boat owners who want bigger, cleaner and more dynamic sound across open deck spaces. With noticeably larger cone area than 6.5" speakers, the MSS8 produces deeper midbass, better vocal projection and higher overall output—ideal for RIBs, wake boats, cruisers and open-cockpit vessels.
Each speaker features a carbon-fibre infused polypropylene cone for exceptional rigidity and low distortion. A tough Santoprene surround maintains durability through temperature swings, UV exposure and constant vibration. The high-performance Tetoron textile dome tweeter delivers crisp, smooth and natural high-frequency detail without harshness.
Kicker’s Real Marine build ensures every component—basket, terminals, magnet assemblies and hardware—is designed to resist UV radiation, salt fog, spray and frequent washdowns. Glass-filled nylon baskets, sealed motor structures and corrosion-resistant stainless hardware guarantee long-term reliability in harsh marine environments.
With 150W RMS / 300W peak power handling at 4 ohms, the MSS8 coaxials pair perfectly with modern marine amplifiers, providing both efficiency and the headroom needed for clean, loud sound even at cruising speeds.
