Product Specifications and Features

REC865436A03 is a Recmar lower shift cable assembly kit for MerCruiser Alpha-family sterndrives. It replaces the cable running through the transom assembly to the drive shift mechanism, restoring smooth forward, neutral and reverse gear engagement.

This kit replaces the earlier Mercury / MerCruiser 865436A03 cable kit and cross-references to the current Quicksilver 8M0176525 lower shift cable kit. It is used on MC-I, R, MR, Alpha One and Alpha One Gen II sterndrive applications.

The kit is for Alpha-family MerCruiser sterndrives and is not a throttle/control box cable.
