The Kicker 51MSC8 MSC8 8 inch premium marine LED coaxial speakers sit at the top of Kicker’s marine speaker range, giving you bigger cone area and extra output compared to standard 6.5 inch speakers. They are designed to fill larger RIBs, sportsboats, wakeboard boats and cruisers with smooth, controlled sound, even when cruising at planing speeds.
Each 8 inch midbass driver uses a carbon fibre infused polypropylene cone with a robust Santoprene surround. This combination keeps the cone rigid and well damped, so bass and midrange stay tight and articulate rather than boomy or muddy when you turn the volume up. A 1.25 inch Tetoron textile dome tweeter sits on axis, projecting clean, detailed high frequencies across the cockpit so vocals, guitars and high percussion stay clear in every seating position.
Internal 12 dB per octave passive crossovers handle the split between woofer and tweeter, protecting the drivers and keeping the frequency response balanced. With a recommended 15 to 200 watts RMS and up to 400 watts peak power handling at 4 ohms, the MSC8 is an ideal partner for modern marine amplifiers and multi zone audio systems where you want headroom and low distortion, not just volume.
