The Propeller Guard by RECMAR (REC9.9-20) It is a two-piece plastic injection molded cage that covers the propeller and has no moving parts, electrical wiring, or hydraulic hose. The Propeller Guard is held in place by a well-designed clamp system and bolts. The Propeller Guard's two sections are clamshell-style fastened to the cavitation plate and skeg of any outboard motor. The recommended top speed is 30 knots. Please keep in mind that this is a universal model, and the hp-indication is only a guideline. The diameter is an important dimension. Prop guards/propeller protectors, foot protection for children's propellers, and guards for stern drive outboard and inboard motors improve sailing characteristics, direction control, and propeller efficiency.
