Product Specifications and Features

MAR988 is a Recmar 4 inch wet-joint exhaust elbow / riser for MerCruiser GM V6 and V8 marine petrol engines. It replaces MerCruiser 807988A03, 807988Q03 and related earlier elbow references.

This is the 7 degree down-angle elbow used on centre-rise wet-joint MerCruiser exhaust systems. It fits GM 4.3L V6, small-block V8 and selected big-block V8 wet-joint applications from the older MerCruiser exhaust family.

MAR988 is for wet-joint exhaust systems where the cooling water and exhaust passages seal through the manifold-to-elbow gasket interface.
