MAR591 is a Recmar aftermarket 14 degree dry-joint exhaust elbow / riser for MerCruiser GM V6 and V8 marine engines. It replaces Mercury / MerCruiser 864591T02.
This elbow is for MerCruiser dry-joint exhaust systems and features a 4 inch outside diameter outlet with a 14 degree down angle. The dry-joint design separates cooling-water and exhaust sealing surfaces more securely than older wet-joint layouts, helping reduce the risk of water intrusion through the manifold-to-elbow joint.
Used on GM-made MerCruiser V6 and V8 applications with dry-joint manifolds, MAR591 is a direct replacement elbow where 864591T02 is specified.
