Installation notes (important)

• Do not mount the RF receiver/dongle inside enclosed metal areas, which can reduce remote connectivity.
• To prevent battery drain during storage, install a switch on the red KMLC power wire to shut the receiver off when not in use.
• Do not connect the KMLC power wire directly to a head unit remote turn-on wire (use a relay if triggering from a turn-on lead).
• Confirm local/USCG regulations before using accent lighting; avoid wiring into navigation lighting circuits.
