The NGK IZFR5G is a Laser Iridium resistor spark plug used in selected Mercury and Mariner OptiMax DFI two-stroke outboard engines. Its fine-wire iridium centre electrode and platinum ground electrode provide dependable ignition, consistent combustion and long service life.

This spark plug is confirmed for the Mercury 200HP 3.0L V6 OptiMax DFI within serial range 0T178500–0T598999.
