This 12V starter motor (10-tooth pinion) is supplied as Recmar REC3854190 and is intended as a replacement for marine Ford V8 applications using the Volvo Penta/MerCruiser reference 3854190. It’s commonly used on Ford 302 (5.0L) engines found in MerCruiser, Volvo Penta and OMC installations where the correct OEM number match is confirmed.
