Product Specifications and Features

RECMAR aluminium sacrificial anode for the power-trim assembly on compatible Mercury and Mariner outboards. It mounts underneath the power-trim pump assembly, helping protect the trim system, transom bracket and surrounding underwater metals from galvanic corrosion.

This is the larger power-trim or transom-bracket anode—not a trim-tab or side-pocket gearcase anode. Aluminium provides effective protection in fresh, brackish and saltwater. Inspect it regularly and replace it when substantially eroded or heavily pitted. Do not paint the anode or its electrical contact surfaces.
