Product Specifications and Features

The JL Audio M800/8-24V (also referenced as M800/8v2-24V) is a genuine 8-channel, full-range Class D marine amplifier engineered specifically for 24V negative-ground electrical systems. With JL Audio’s NexD™ ultra-high-speed switching design, it delivers high output with excellent efficiency—ideal for powering multiple speaker zones on larger boats.

  • System voltage: 24V only (not for 12V systems)
  • RMS power @ 28.8V (≤1% THD+N): 75W x 8 @ 4Ω; 100W x 8 @ 2Ω; 200W x 4 bridged @ 4Ω (150W x 4 bridged @ 8Ω)
  • RMS power @ 25V (≤1% THD+N): 60W x 8 @ 4Ω; 90W x 8 @ 2Ω; 180W x 4 bridged @ 4Ω (120W x 4 bridged @ 8Ω)
  • Inputs: Four stereo pairs (8 channels) via differential-balanced RCA inputs; 200 mV – 8 V RMS input range
  • Crossovers: Per channel-pair, selectable HP/LP/Off; 12 dB/oct Butterworth; variable 50–500 Hz
  • Remote level control: Optional HD-RLC / MHD-RLC supported (sold separately) for 2, 4, or all-channel level control
  • Minimum impedance: 2Ω per channel (stereo) / 4Ω bridged
  • Recommended wiring & protection: Minimum 4 AWG copper power/ground; 40A fuse (MAXI™ or AGU)

Typical system uses: power four pairs of marine speakers, run a multi-zone setup, or bridge channels to feed higher-power speaker pairs or small subwoofer loads (observe minimum impedance ratings).
