The JL Audio MX500/4 is a compact, full-range 4-channel Class D marine/powersports amplifier built for harsh environments, featuring an IPX7 water-resistance rating (with the control cover installed). It delivers clean, reliable power for four speakers, or can be bridged to run higher-power 2-channel setups.

Installation & compatibility notes

  • Designed for 12V negative-ground electrical systems only.
  • Verify speaker loads and wiring before installation (supports 2Ω operation per channel and bridged operation at 4Ω, per published power ratings).
  • Confirm space, cable sizing, and fuse placement before ordering/installation.
