Product Specifications and Features

Genuine Tohatsu alternator kit for adding/renewing the charging coil under the flywheel on compatible small 2-stroke outboards. This kit is used to provide 12V charging output (rated 80W) for running electronics when the correct rectifier/regulator is installed.

Before ordering, confirm your exact engine model and the part number currently fitted to avoid ordering the wrong charging system component.

  • Part type: Alternator / charging coil kit (under-flywheel)
  • OEM reference: Tohatsu 3B2-06128-0
  • Related/alternate refs: Tohatsu 3B2-06123-1; Mercury/Mariner 804977A1 (superseded to 804977T01)

Fitment note: This is not the alternator kit used on Tohatsu MFS8/MFS9.8 4-stroke engines (those commonly use 3V1-06128-0 or 3V2-06128-0). Always confirm by engine serial number and OEM part number.
