Product Specifications and Features

The JL Audio MHD600/4-24V is a genuine, full-range 4-channel Class D marine amplifier built for 24V negative-ground vessels. It uses JL Audio’s Single-Cycle Control™ switching design and a tightly regulated R.I.P.S. power supply to deliver consistent output with excellent sound quality across a wide range of speaker loads.

  • Rated power (RMS): 150W x 4 @ 1.5–4Ω (22–29V)
  • Bridged power (RMS): 300W x 2 @ 3–8Ω (22–29V)
  • Frequency response: 6 Hz – 30 kHz (+0/−1 dB)
  • Crossovers: Front & Rear filter sets; High-Pass or Low-Pass; 12 dB/oct Butterworth or 24 dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley; 50–500 Hz; defeatable
  • Inputs: Differential-balanced RCA (Front/Rear); selectable 200 mV–2 V (Low) or 800 mV–8 V (High); 2/4-channel input mode
  • Preamp outputs: 2-channel buffered pass-through; selectable “Front” only or summed (Front+Rear)
  • Electrical: Recommended main fuse 25A (AFS/AGU/MaxiFuse™); accepts 8–4 AWG power/ground (8 AWG minimum recommended)
  • Chassis size (L×W×H): 10.74" × 7.85" × 1.93" (273 × 199.5 × 49 mm), excluding connectors
  • Marine-ready construction: Powder-coated chassis, gasketed control cover and corrosion-resistant hardware (designed for marine use, but not waterproof)
