This 12V 65A marine alternator is a direct replacement for Volvo Penta / OMC (BRP) petrol sterndrive and inboard applications that use OEM alternator 3860171. Supplied under Recmar reference REC3860171, it’s intended to restore correct charging performance when the correct match is confirmed.

Before ordering: confirm the part number on your existing alternator and compare the mounting, electrical connections, and pulley type (single-groove V-belt). Fitment can vary by engine version and accessory drive.
